Tixio AS (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Tixio services (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information by this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at Tixio.

Information Collection And Use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally, identifiable information may include but is not limited to, your email address, name, and other information (“Personal Information”).
We collect this information to provide the Service, identify and communicate with you, respond to your requests/inquiries, service your purchase orders, and improve our services.
Should you opt-in to use the Google Contacts feature within Tixio, we will have the ability to view your contacts via the Google People API. The sole use of this data is to populate the auto-completion of your contacts when sending invitation emails. Tixio will not use this data for any other purpose.
Other analytics tools we use include Intercom for in-app customer support and email marketing analytics, Amplitude for product analytics, Google Analytics for user analytics, and Logrocket and Sentry.io for logging. If you wish to opt out of any data collection, please send us an email at [email protected], or install a browser analytics blocker plug-in (e.g. Ghostery).

Log Data

We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or when you access the Service by or through a mobile device (“Log Data”).
This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Log Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third-party services including Sentry, Intercom, Logrocket, and Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this type of information to increase our Service’s functionality. These third-party service providers have their privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
We use cookies to remember information so that you don’t have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Site, to understand and save your preferences for future visits, to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction, to provide custom, personalized content, support, or information, including advertising. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We limit the Personal Information provided to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and we require them to agree to maintain the confidentiality of such Personal Information.

We may use your Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send or by contacting us.

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us at any time.

Compliance With Laws

On May 25, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became effective in bringing new global data protection rights for individuals in the European Union.
Tixio fully supports the privacy rights of our customers and their users and is proactively working toward GDPR compliance along with associated third-party service providers to protect your data.

Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

International Transfer

Our information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Norway and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to Norway and process it there.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from children under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Billing Information
